Last year, Sewall was very fortunate to have 94 donors make a generous gift on Colorado Gives Day. YOUR support has enabled Sewall to continue to provide much-needed training, coaching, and supervision required for teachers to support children of different abilities to be successful in inclusive environments. For this years’ Colorado Gives Day we would love to exceed last years results!
While there is still much work to be done to solve the teacher shortage crisis, we are so grateful for our generous philanthropic community and for your support!
Here is an example of YOUR impact in action:

Together with the Mental Health Center of Denver, Sewall participated in the grand opening of the Dahlia Center for Health and Well-Being with the opening of 4 preschool classrooms. Sewall was fortunate to hire Trina, a teacher with Head Start experience who lives in the neighborhood. Within the first year, Trina participated in ongoing professional development to learn strategies to use with children in an inclusive classroom, including helping them to identify emotions and interact with their peers, necessary components for future success. Trina is now in her 4th year of teaching with Sewall and a mentor to many others on the needs of young children and their families in her community. J. Interlandi refers to a preschool teacher’s ability to connect with students as “the raw power that can change the course of a life.” Sewall is grateful for teachers who change lives!
An investment in Sewall is an investment in the future! A contribution to Sewall also qualifies for the Colorado Child Tax Credit.
You don’t need to wait until Colorado Gives Day; you can MAKE YOUR IMPACT TODAY!
